The Japanese tradition of weaving thin Paulownia wood onto a paper backing has been modernized to die-cut more design options. Ajiro wood veneer wallcoverings can turn corners and wrap columns. Following the contemporary look of our Ajiro Chevron, the Grand Scale expands the design with 15-inch wide stripes that transform large spaces into spectacular settings. Cost effective and environmental, this renewable resource is beautifully stained in 15 hues and hand-finished in our Chicago studio. Ajiro wood veneer wallcoverings are an attractive alternative to costly millwork.

Hand‑inlaid genuine shell tiles with stain‑resistant coating, Mother of Pearl Chevron perfectly side matches. Design scale is 4.5" wide columns with 1" wide strips. Tile edges follow shape of chevron design for an interlocking installation. Hand‑finished in our Chicago studio.

The natural beauty of dupioni silk is emulated in a lustrous, durable, woven polyester, and accentuated with a classic damask emboss of Italian Baroque origin.  Century-old tooling has been reworked to create an aesthetic that transcends time. Palais Damassé is fit for modern royalty!
